Welcome New Parishioners!

Thank you so much for inquiring into registering as a member of St. Jude the Apostle Parish. We welcome you and look forward to getting to know you. Our pastor and parish staff look forward to assisting you with spiritual and pastoral support through our time and various parish ministries.

As with civil parishes, all church parishes are defined by particular geographical boundaries, see map below. Those who live within the boundaries of a church parish other than St. Jude Parish, and wish to register here, are simply asked to inform us of this during your registration process. If you are unsure as to whether or not you reside (or will be residing) within the boundaries of St. Jude Parish, or you need more information about new parishioner registration, you are invited to call Mindy Coogan in our Parish Office at 225-766-2431. And again, we welcome you to our faith community!

Please note that to register as a parishioner of St. Jude, at least one adult family member (the head of the household and/or spouse) must be Catholic.

Fill out the St. Jude New Parishoner Registration Form here, save it to your computer, and then you may either email it to Mindy Coogan mindyc@stjudecatholic.org, print it out and bring it in, or mail it to our office. 2. MyParish App - is your on-the-go mobile resource for everything St. Jude:  access our weekly bulletin,  Mass schedule, upcoming events calendar, homilies, daily devotionals and so much more! Text 'app' to number '55321', or look for it in your mobile store for your iphone or android. 
3. Flocknote - We are also asking each parishioner to sign up for "Disaster Preparedness" alerts through our Church Notification System called Flocknote.  Flocknote also offers messaging opt-ins for our ministry groups, religious sacraments and education groups.
