We are a sacramental church. Each sacrament is an outward, visible sign of the invisible but real grace that God bestows upon us in each of these encounters. As we read in the Catechism of the Catholic Church,
“Christ instituted the sacraments of the new law. There are seven: Baptism, Confirmation, the Eucharist, Penance (Reconciliation), the Anointing of the Sick, Holy Orders and Matrimony. The seven sacraments touch all the stages and all the important moments of Christian life: they give birth and increase, healing and mission to the Christian's life of faith.” (CCC #1210)
For each of the sacraments there is a process of preparation. Prior to the celebration of each, we take time to sit down with one another to reflect on the theology and origin of each sacrament and the significance that they can have in our lives. Our website offers a description of how to register for sacraments as well as the processes leading up to each.
