OUR PRESENTER- Our guest presenter for our retreat will be Jennifer Feduccia, who was with us in November for a workshop, entitled, "Emotional Agility: Navigating Life's Anxieties." This presentation, within the context of our faith, was well-received. Jennifer grew up in a family business. Her family owned and operated 7 Hallmark stores, and legend has it she made her first sale at just 3 years old! She earned her BA in Psychology at Millsaps College and her Masters in Leadership Development and Performance Management at Louisiana State University. Over the last 3 decades Jennifer has worked across various industries with a concentration in Healthcare, to improve workplace culture. Connecting people and encouraging them to be their best selves allows her to live her passion and purpose. With a recent certification in coaching Jennifer has helped people unlock their potential to live a courageous and fulfilling life.
THEME- Our Heavenly Father Heavenly Father desires to give us the gift of true peace. However, we can only experience this peace once we cultivate it within ourselves. He is patiently waiting for us to surrender our worries and anxieties to Him. Join us as we explore the obstacles that prevent us from finding peace—particularly, our emotions. Too often, our emotions lead us down a path of anxiety, worry, and even regret, causing us to act in ways we later wish we had not. But there is hope. In our discussion, we will introduce the concept of emotional agility, a powerful tool that helps us manage our emotions effectively. By practicing emotional agility, we can find lasting inner peace—not just during this season, but throughout our lives. This event is open to persons 18 and older.
Along with the retreat, the Catholic Daughters will be hosting a blanket drive. Please bring any new or slightly used blankets to be distributed to the poor and homebound.
We look forward to seeing you and God Bless!
